So depending on the Governor's signature, Homer may end up with a natural gas line soon. It's normal for a subdivision or a neighborhood to suddenly be opened up for natural gas, but this could be the entire southern tip of the Kenai Peninsula. It would be great to be prepared. It would be great to educate people on what is the most efficient technologies to install, the best products to buy for our climate. I fear that there may be the usual flood of purchasing whatever is available, whatever company hits the ground first, whatever advertises the most, regardless of efficiency.
Does anyone know of resources for information on technology, applications, and efficiencies of products available to run on natural gas?
