Port Moller, AK Wind-Diesel System -Tested in 130mph winds and -30 degrees!

Summer 2011, Alaskan Wind Industries installed a 6kW Wind Turbine in Port Moller Alaska.  This wind turbine was tested in over 130mph winds and -30 degrees last month and produced an amazing amounts of energy for this lodge.  In the past few months, this wind-diesel system has allowed this lodge to reduce its winter fuel consumption over 50%.
