The USDA Rural Development State Office in Palmer is currently
accepting applications for the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP).
It is anticipated that the deadline could be as early as April 1.

Here are some thoughts and ideas:

Problem/Issue we have in AK:
We need community involvement in terms of energy (transportation, heat, electricity). Means basic understanding of folks (at least a core group) what’s going on in terms of energy in their community – so how could we get there?
