Nice to hear from you. I actually live in Anchorage. You might know my brother Larry who works for TDX power off and on work depending :)
I would absolutely love to meet you and talk to you if you have any time in the next few months. I work for AVEC so I'm not too far away. So there you go, a cordial invitation for lunch sometime.
Ok, back to work for me :)
Warm Regards,
Viola Stepetin

Hi Connie,
I will try to give you a better idea about the network.
The network’s goal is to connect energy experts and enthusiast interested in energy in Alaska in a simple, easy way by using the network’s features.
Features that the network offers are:
- profile page
each member has a profile page and ideally every member provides contact information, occupation and interests on this page
- groups
join a group and discuss group specific questions and issues (or create a new group)
- blog
members can post AK energy related stories, articles and thoughts (less specific than groups)
- events
members can announce energy lectures, forums, workshops, seminars…
I hope this helps! The main focus is to keep it simple and to provide energy folks a platform to share and connect.
Let me know if you have any suggestions or questions! THX, Markus
I tried to send a message before sending a friend request (sorry)...
I was hoping to talk with you sometime if you have time. This Energy network is really great.
Not sure how this site works, so I'll try to talk to you using a different venue sometime in the near future.
