The use of renewable energies offers the opportunity to diminish energy dependence, reduce the emission of CO2 and create new employment. The involvement of local agents is highly important for the future development in this field, especially in regions whose industrial mix was based on traditional energy sources.

Here is an article on the effects of FIT and RET in the electrical markets, rather than empirical study much of the debate rages around ideological beliefs and technological preference. It's turning me from an idealist of public interest theory into a skeptical cynical
believe in the private interest theory as defined below.

Presently HB 66 has 1% as the upper limit for IPP's as to how this was arrived at there is little indication. Same for the 25kw for systems with net meetering, IPP's and RET.
