In this dynamic, day long workshop, the speakers will cover Solar Thermal, Electric Vehicles, and Lithium Battery Storage Systems. Steve Eayrs of Homer will provide practical details of installing solar thermal collector systems in Alaska. Hank Buettner of Buettner Telecom and Consulting will review the history, current developments and obstacles of electric vehicles and their role in energy efficient buildings. Mike Willmon, an electrical engineer in Anchorage, will discuss technical issues of electrical power storage systems for homes and vehicles and its use in the future smart electric grid. This workshop will prove to be an important workshop for connecting the dots along your Path to Zero Net Energy!
